ALGEBRA I

Algebra I is a standard 9th grade class in Baltimore County, where the students will take 12 Summative Assessments, 3 County Created Benchmarks, a Final Exam and the High School Assessment (HSA) or the PARCC Exam.  These tests are all mandatory and passing the HSA is a graduation requirement for current 10th-12th grade High School students in the State of Maryland.  The exception to the HSA rule is for "New" students, any student in the 9th grade is no longer taking the Algebra HSA but they will be preparing for the PARCC exam also given at the end of the course.
